If you are here for a holiday then we recommend the 3 R’s - Relax, Recline, Refresh! None are difficult to achieve! Just unpack and find the spot of your choice to settle down with a good book. Settle in the dappled shade of the mighty plain trees either on the lawn or in the pergola, stretch out on the expansive verandas or just snuggle up on the master bed and doze off with the splendour of a coastal view to soothe your senses.

If you are here with family or friends pull out a board game, shuffle the cards or even make use of the expansive lawns for a bocce game. If that sounds too vigorous then just find one of the many communal spots, settle in, chill out and share a yarn and a laugh.

At dusk be sure to take time on the front veranda, maybe for pre dinner drinks and nibbles and watch the magic of the coastal lights twinkle into life. After all it is what Vue de Lumieres was named for!!

Then after dinner finish off a perfect day by choosing one of the fabulous movies in the very extensive DVD collection but don’t stay up too late! Take advantage of the beautiful dark quiet that you can only find on the mountain, and nestle in for a perfect nights rest. After all, there is that fabulous early morning walk along the escarpment waiting for you tomorrow.

On the other hand if you are the adventurous type, ignore all of the above bring your bike (cycle maps are provided), your trekking shoes (walking maps on hand), your canoe or your surfboard and get out there and discover everything the Blackall Ranges and Sunshine Coast Hinterland have to offer.
